All good except one rude reception staff

delux room with the sea view is beautiful. cleanliness was ok and the F&B staff who we have dealt with are very supportive.

Reception staff who ever answer the phone when I have requested to have a late checkout were very rude. Totally understand if they couldn't give late check out in a back to back situation as he mentioned. but the way he expressed it were really unacceptable and he declined the line before i finish the conversation. Unbelievable manners for a hotelier!!!

Well relaxed vacation.

A place to relax well without much disturbances. The food was nice & delicious. The staff was efficient & friendly. The suite room was spacious though the bed was little small. Rooms have a good sea view.

Nice beachside location but rooms could do with a touch up

Nice staff, good buffet breakfast and convenient beachside location. For the price we paid it was good value for money.

Rooms were a bit dated. For example, the AC didn’t work in several of them; we went as part of a larger group hence how we know. A lampshade in our room was a bit mouldy, towels were frayed and past their best.

I went for a wedding, other people who attended the wedding stayed here as well. Air con in several rooms were not working. Poor maintenance on the rooms. Did not feel comfortable as it wasn’t clean.

They have delicious foods in their buffet. And so much varieties to select. Large pool is another attractive thing. Staff was really pleasant

Rooms aint that much clean. Specially the days we stayed there were heavy rainy days and after the rain inside the rooms were filled with rain water which was coming through their glass windows. We had to called for housekeeping staff each time to clean our rooms. It was really irritating and bothered us. Next day the AC machine in our room was not worked they said it took some time to repair it. We couldnt stay that much of time without AC inside the room. But they didnt care about it so we had to ask for another room. Since this is a so called star hotel it is really suprising to see these kind of things here as we have not experienced these type of troubles in any five star or even in a three star hotel. We were really disappointed in our whole stay cause of these troubles

We booked the hotel for a overnight stay and day out with immediate family next day. The staff including Front office Manager Kasun went an extra mile to make the whole stay memorable for us. Chef Deshapriya spoke to us personally and arranged a bespoke menu to cater the adults as well as kids. Very impressed with the the quality customer service and individual attention from the whole team at Jie Jie Beach by Jetwing.

Excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We will definitely visit again. Well done.

From the time we arrived at this wonderful destination we were greeted with broad smiles and warm welcomes. We spent 17 days at this hotel. We were overwhelmed with the level of care and dedication shown to us from the manager Mr Anthony Ferdinand, reception staff, bar staff, restaurant staff, chiefs, housekeeping staff, and pool staff. It is a hotel that is very well managed, and meets all the requirements of visitors to Sri Lanka. Thank you for making our holiday memorable.

Nice peaceful and relaxing stay.

Comfy beds, happy staff at reception, massive swimming pool. Modern room with air con and Wi-Fi. Very clean and up to date room and throughout the hotel really clean. Great food with variety of cuisines. Bus and local taxis available. Good transport links. You can use uber from here too!

The dogs around the property kept following us especially when eating. They are allowed to go inside the hotel areas too which is annoying as we were told that some of them have rabies. So be aware.

This is not a 5 or 4* hotel. maybe it was many years ago. The pool is for sure not what you see in the photos. for this price you can get much more in Sri Lanka.

Don't ruin your holiday, stay away !!

The only positive was the staff, who were quite nice and helpful, though a bit slow at everything.

This hotel should not be rated 5 star, it is 3 star at best. The hotel is located between the beach and a railway line, so from early morning to late night, there is a lot of noise of trains passing within 50 mtrs of the hotel. If your room is not facing the sea - best of luck !! The accommodation has split aircons, which do not work well. You may be having cold water showers, , we did on 2 of 5 days, be prepared. If you want your room made up, remind them and remind them again. The hotel has a Chinese partner or tie up and is basically designed for Chinese tour groups who arrive at night, have dinner, breakfast and leave the next day. They are 80-90 percent of the guests and all the food is catering to them. Quite difficult, if you are not part of that category. There are a lot of better resorts around. DO NOT STAY HERE !!
